Puma celebrates double award success

Puma Property Finance has been recognised with two major industry awards, reflecting the continued growth of the business and its role in supporting high-quality developments across the UK.

It has been named Debt Provider of the Year at the 2026 HealthInvestor Awards and Property Lender of the Year (Over £20m) at the 2026 PROPS Awards.

The wins recognise a significant period of progress for the business, which has now surpassed £2bn in loans provided to date, backing projects across the UK and across sectors including healthcare, logistics, office and purpose-built student accommodation.

At the HealthInvestor Awards, Puma was recognised for its work in the UK care sector and position as a highly active supporter of the delivery of new care home capacity. Led by Tony Throp, Director and Head of Healthcare, Puma’s healthcare team has now provided more than £550m of new care home loans, supporting the delivery of over 50 care homes and more than 3,800 new care beds nationwide.

The HealthInvestor Awards celebrate leading organisations across health and social care, including advisory, finance and investment. The event is one of the largest in the care sector calendar, bringing together more than 1,400 guests and judged by a panel of industry experts.

Puma was also named Property Lender of the Year (Over £20m) at the PROPS Awards, which brings together the UK property industry to recognise companies and individuals that have excelled over the past year. The awards also raise vital funds for Variety, the Children’s Charity.

The awards follow a transformational period for Puma, including the launch of new partnerships with Madison International Realty and KKR, further strengthening the business’s ability to support experienced developers and borrowers across the UK.

Paul Frost, Managing Director of Puma Property Finance, commented:

“We are incredibly proud to have been recognised by both the HealthInvestor and the PROPS Awards. The wins reflect the strength of our team, the quality of our borrower relationships and the important role our funding plays in supporting much-needed developments across the UK.”
